About Us:
* We are different than other full day childcare centers because we teach a full preschool curriculum daily M-F while accommodating parents' full-day work schedules with before and after care included.
* Our Preschool and Pre-K lead teachers have their degrees in Early Childhood Education Or a CDA/ Associates Degree
* We use a proven, purchased curriculums to help us plan meaningful learning days. We incorporate Art/Music and Fine/Gross motor play along with social/emotional activities daily.
* Our students are beyond prepared for full day Kindergarten when they graduate from pre-K. Many of our graduates meet or exceed state standards in Reading and Mathematics in the Brunswick City Schools.
* All toddler classes are 1:7 and 1:8 ratio with a maximum class size of the same number. Upper Class ratios are 1:12, 1:14
* We follow a daily routine and rotate classrooms during our morning schedule visiting the Art/Music room, Dramatic Playroom/ Outdoor play/ Indoor Play, and Library/Computer & Curriculum class. Each environment is conducive to the experience.
* Our schedule and class size allow for 1:1 instruction as well as social growth. Each student has opportunities to build peer relationships throughout each day. Manners and Respect to peers and adults are at the forefront of each day.
* Practicing self-help skills are also a big part of every day. We focus on the whole child with a goal of making it fun.
* Our Music and Movement class includes activities from Kindermusik, Curriculum Suggestions, Drums Alive, Yoga, Go Noodle and much more.
*Outside activities that come to BPA include the Soccer Shots Program, Medina County Library Story hour, and Zumba Kids with certified instructors, Yoga Kids with certified instructor. We encourage new experiences and are always open for exploring new classes.
* We have a very strong and committed staff. We keep our program small. Your child's routine is important to us!
